Hello Dreamers.
Its 2025 now for most of the world. Perhaps nothing more than a numerical representation of a point in time, but, as with many things, humans attribute importance and ceremony to these things.
I ain't complaining. Nothing wrong with looking for reasons and excuses to party
I'll be posting more detail for what I want to do for Space Whale Dreams and the literature that I am writing.
My aim this year is to publish three books. If I can write out Champion of Seasons's sequel, a sequel to Whispers of the Abyss, and get Quantum Songstress edited and pushed out at last, well, there is three right there! So prepare for a book in April!
Another thing I want to do is write a series of stories in this fantasy setting. Monetisation would involve the smaller stories being posted as ebooks and to assemble anthologies once a certain word count or a larger arc within smaller stories is completed. Related to this is to look into services like Patreon, where one could get free samples and stories in exchanged for monthly support.
Sure, the lot of you might not want to hear about me trying to find ways to siphon money, however a girl needs to eat, and we live in a late-stage capitalist society where if I want food, clothing, shelter, and nice things I need money.
I also want to regiment myself more. Starting with a work schedule (if you can call it that) where I am drafting for four hours in a day for four days a week, then streaming on Twitch as Mikodite for two days, leaving one rest day. Where I draft I might do audio work: I know some of you want an audiobook version of Whispers sooner or later.
Of course, needing to read more, and watch more. Will try to figure that out. Maybe as watch parties?
